Gesture Theater is a trans-led company of dancers, actors, and clowns. Our work connects experimental dance with physical-theater traditions of mask, puppetry, improvisation, and devising. Most recently the company was in residency at NYU Tisch through WADE. Past performances include NYLA with Ellen Robbins Alumni, PhysFest NYC, Triskelion Arts, The Tank, Brooklyn Art Haus, The Brick Aux with Celebration Barn Theater, Accademia Dell’Arte, Edinburgh Fringe, La MaMa Puppet Slam, The Center at West Park, and the International Society for Gesture Studies.
