Dianne Marie Cano (she/her) is a Cuban-American freelance performer and choreographer born in Miami, FL. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the New World School of the Arts. After graduating, Dianne worked in Miami as a collaborator/swing for Adele Myers and Dancers. She also was a dancer for National Water Dance, a site-specific contemporary company under the direction of Dale Andree. Since moving to New York City, she has been honored to appear in works by choreographers Abigail Rebekah, Adrian Lee, Charlie Sutton, and Robert Taylor Jr. Dianne is currently a company member with choreographer and Paul Taylor alum, Laura Halzack. She is thankful to WestFest for the opportunity to showcase her choreography.
