Beatriz (she/they) is a latinx, queer movement artist from Costa Rica, currently based in NYC. They have presented choreography at NDA’s Performance Mix, Triskelion Arts, Arts On Site, GreenSpace, The Mark O’Donnell Theater, and Dixon Place. Internationally, she has presented work at the longest-running contemporary dance event in Costa Rica. Awarded residencies for the exploration and development of new work include: Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, MOtiVE Brooklyn, and Pepatián: Bronx Arts ColLABorative. Beatriz has been a member of Spark Movement Collective and Verbal Animal, while also working closely with Antonin Rioche, Catherine Cabeen, Elisabeth Motley, Elena Vazintaris and her friends.
